FREEDOM REIGNS IN UIGE, ANGOLA! – GOSPEL CAMPAIGN

Collaboration is a crucial part of the “Decade of Double Harvest” vision. In Uige, Angola, Christ for all Nations was thrilled to partner with Evangelist Randy Roberts, who graduated from the first CfaN Evangelism Bootcamp only five years ago. Now see what the Lord has done!

Evangelist Roberts originally intended to go to a completely different, larger city, but he felt no peace in the planning. Then the Lord said, “Check again,” and highlighted Uige, a place Randy had never heard of. But God had His eye on this rural region, and what happened was extraordinary.

During the four days of the Gospel Campaign, over 250,000 attended the meetings, with 130,444 documented decisions for Jesus recorded! There were many powerful miracle testimonies, too.

Broken bones healed: Domingo had two broken bones – his collarbone and his left leg. He didn’t want to come to the campaign at first, but he when he did, he was healed! Testing himself, he found he could now lift heavy things. He did over 20 pushups with Evangelist Roberts on stage. The day before, he had stolen a phone and some cash. But convicted by the preaching, he gave the money and phone back and received Jesus as Lord.

Blind eye restored: Angela brought her son, Elohim (around six years old) to testify. In 2022, Elohim struggled with a painful eye condition and ended up losing sight in one eye. But after the prayer for the sick, he told his mother he could see and had no more pain in his eye. Randy had him cover his good eye, and with the eye that had just received its sight, he could count Randy’s fingers from right across the stage.

A mother’s faith: Milita brought her son, Alberta, to testify of his miraculous healing. Since 2020, he had been living with his father and was completely insane. She fetched him herself and brought him to the campaign instead of to the witch doctor. She believed this was the only place he could be healed. She brought him here and all his memory problems of the past disappeared. He no longer has dementia. He could read the NTYAS booklet and accepted Jesus, fully in his right mind!

Shouts of joy: Christina broke a bone in her shoulder a couple years ago. It was so painful that even raising her voice hurt her, and she could not shout. Today, she arrived in pain feeling sad, but people around her grabbed her hands to pray. She said, “This pain must leave now” and it did. Totally healed, she yelled joyfully with Randy on stage!

“Tell the people how unified we have become”

A profoundly moving thing happened on the final night. As Randy was about to go on stage, the entire Board of Advisors (the local committee of church leaders who helped put on the campaign) surrounded him. One of them leant in with a serious look and tone and said, “Please, before you preach, tell the people how unified we have become.”

Randy shared: “My heart leapt because I know that if the body of Christ is divided, all those new believers will not receive what they need to properly grow and be effective for the Kingdom. The body of Christ in Uige had never worked together like this before and some were hesitant in the beginning to trust us and one another. You would never know that now, though. The church leadership, men from all different denominations and backgrounds, are now fast friends. It fills my heart with joy to know that not only has the Kingdom of God been greatly expanded, it has also been strengthened.”
