FIFTEEN MASS CRUSADES - UGANDA

Over the next few weeks, we will conduct FIFTEEN Gospel Crusades throughout this nation. In addition, we have already trained hundreds of local evangelists and we have been working with them for the last couple months. Also, Bootcamp graduates and students are on the ground here preaching the Gospel all over the nation! Literally millions of people will have heard the gospel in Uganda by the time we are finished! IT’S HARVEST TIME!

MIRACLES AND TRANSFORMATION

Uganda is undergoing a significant transformation as a powerful wave of revival sweeps across the nation. Our current series of FIFTEEN mass crusades, including five that have just concluded and two more scheduled for this week, is making a HUGE impact on the nation.

Thank you, our faithful ministry partners, for standing with us and all the evangelists and teams helping make this possible as we travel from Cape Town to Cairo, conducting 50 mass gospel crusades to win millions for Jesus!

Below, I have included some highlights from the recent crusades, pictures from Tororo and a recap video from Gulu, Uganda.

Tororo, a small bush town in Eastern Uganda, often overlooked by missionaries, experienced a powerful move of God. Predominantly Muslim and plagued by poverty, the community was filled with a sense of hopelessness. However, Jesus did not forget His beloved people of Tororo. The high attendance astonished local pastors and the stage equipment staff when the crusade began. Every night was special, with God bringing breakthroughs in various areas of people’s lives.

The most extraordinary night was Saturday, when the tangible Glory of God was evident, and the audience was visibly affected by the power of the Holy Spirit. The call to follow Jesus saw a unanimous and heartfelt response from the crowd, echoing the prophet Isaiah’s words, “Here I am, Lord, send me!” This culminated in a massive wave of the Holy Spirit, baptizing the audience, setting many free from demons, and resulting in spontaneous healings. By the last night, joy filled the air as the people danced and praised the Lord, marking a significant transformation in Tororo.

The crusade in Masindi witnessed a mighty move of God despite the town’s reputation as the witchcraft capital of Uganda. The spiritual battle was intense, but night after night, Jesus gained the victory. One of the most remarkable aspects of this crusade was the mass deliverance that took place. During testimony time, many shared how Jesus had delivered them from the bondage of witchcraft. Night three of the crusade was particularly powerful, with the preaching of a clear gospel message on the blood of Jesus. The spiritual battle in the area was evident. That night, many people brought their witchcraft items to be burned, leading to numerous deliverances.

In Pabo, at Council Open Space in Amuru District, Uganda, a region known for its spiritual darkness and history of rebellion under the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA), the area witnessed a powerful move of God. Despite initial challenges, including the small visible population and the removal of promotional materials, the turnout was remarkable; tens of thousands were saved, and many people were healed from various sicknesses and diseases. Among the notable healings were a girl delivered from 10 years of demonic attacks, a lady healed from 5 years of chronic back pain, and another girl who had been unable to walk without crutches for 10 years was completely healed and no longer needs crutches.

While these crusades are happening in Uganda, we have trucks making their way to the Congo for our next set of eight mass crusades in August. The roads they must navigate are perilous and time-consuming, making their mission all the more challenging. Please keep them all in your prayers as they toil for the Gospel to see SOULS won for Jesus!

SIGNIFICANT VICTORY

The latest Uganda Crusade took place in the Lubaga District of Kampala. This area was strategically located between a mosque and a witch doctor’s shrine, and it was once considered the most wicked and darkest place in Kampala. This Crusade represents a significant victory for the Kingdom of God! Hallelujah!

Led by the Holy Spirit, Bootcamp Graduate Evangelists Brady Liette, Daniel Wolfenbarger, Jasper Kim, Delton Acheampong, and Brandon Pounds brought the light of Jesus to this place. Thousands of people came out to hear the life-changing power of the gospel and experienced God’s mighty presence, resulting in many being saved and healed from all kinds of sickness and diseases.

Below are some testimonies from the field, along with a recap video from the first 7 crusades in Uganda. Thank you for making this happen!

Katherine, who had suffered from a rare, generational allergy since she was two years old, was told by doctors that there was no cure. She had to wear a mask constantly and struggled with depression. Her sister brought her to the crusade, where she felt a change. The following night, she returned, and as she shouted “Hallelujah,” her allergies were completely healed. With tears of joy, she shared her testimony, declaring that Jesus Christ had healed her.

Edith was in bed with a fever when she heard the gospel from the crusade field. In a dream, someone told her to go to the crusade for prayer. She brought her child, who was also sick, and after receiving prayer, both were healed.

If you have any illness or a prayer request, please submit it HERE. We are committed to personally praying for you!

There are still seven mass crusades to go in Uganda, with five more taking place this week in Tororo, Masindi, Pabo, Soroti, and Kaliro. Please keep all the teams and people of Uganda in your prayers!

400% CHURCH GROWTH!

Dear Mission Partners,

Tonight, we concluded the second week of crusades here in Uganda, wrapping up the first seven of fifteen planned events. The response has been phenomenal. Already hundreds of thousands have come to Christ and the count is still rising!

From the city of Iganga, Evangelist Gary Smith shared a joyful update:

“The joy of the Lord is your strength! Tonight, the joy of the Lord enveloped Iganga so profoundly that I could barely preach. One of our CfaN technical team members even grabbed a microphone to join in singing ‘I’ve got the Joy, Joy, down in my heart.’ The crowd was so energized, dancing kicked up dust, filling the air as their joy, unspeakable and full of glory, echoed throughout the atmosphere. When asked if they had ever experienced anything like this, their shouts of freedom said it all. Freedom has indeed swept through Iganga, transforming lives from despair to liberty. It’s a revival that I believe will continue to flourish.”

Across the four cities, the gospel has been preached with power, accompanied by miraculous healings. In Mbale, Gift overcame a year of severe back pain that had left her considering surgery, but after a prayer from Evangelist Kevin Wagner, she was healed, demonstrating her newfound health with tears of joy. In Kampala, Harrison regained hearing in his left ear after four years, a miracle confirmed in a poignant demonstration. And in Iganga, young Ereja Braka, who was deaf in her right ear for two years, can now hear clearly following the healing prayers.

From Gulu, Evangelist Jim Leamon shared the testimony of Jennifer Ajara. In 1977, she turned to witchcraft, becoming a witch doctor. It was a costly decision that resulted in physical and spiritual sickness. Her life was filled with darkness and demonic oppression. However, tonight marked a monumental change: Jennifer repented and embraced Jesus as her Lord and Savior, finding freedom from the demons that had bound her. She boldly declared her commitment to follow Him for the rest of her life and announced that she would no longer be offering services as a witchdoctor. She proclaimed publicly and enthusiastically that Jesus is the true healer!

Another testimony in Gulu comes from a young woman named Innocent, who lived on the opposite side of the city. Suffering from debilitating neck pain for two months, she was desperate to attend the crusade but was immobilized by her agony. Miraculously, as the preacher’s voice was carried on the wind into her home, she was moved to place her hand on her neck in faith. At that moment, she was healed!

Evangelist Jim writes, “These are just two of the many miracles Jesus did in Gulu tonight.  Once again time limited the testimonies we heard, and we turned people away from the testimony line due to time constraints.  Truly God’s favor is being poured out.  Several pastors have shared that their church membership grew because of this crusade, one smaller church by 400%. This pastor told me when he heard CfaN was coming to Gulu City, he planted a new church in an underserved area.  He was very appreciative of the willingness of CfaN to come expedite his church growth.”

Next week, eight more crusades will take place in Uganda and the Bootcamp students will return home for their graduation on the weekend.

Our team is also on the ground in Congo already preparing for a multi-city, multi-crusade campaign, that will begin there in just three weeks. We will soon surpass the halfway mark for the 50 crusades being conducted this year in Christ for all Nations’ 50th Anniversary Year!

We are pressing into God’s promises with all our faith and with all our might. Thank you for praying.

WITCH DOCTORS, DEMONIACS & MADMEN!

Dear Mission Partners,

If you read my report from last night, you know that as a team, in all four cities, we preached about the blood of Jesus last night and went after witchcraft and idolatry, which are strongholds in these cities. The response has been overwhelming. Many attendees have surrendered items linked to the occult—fetishes, charms, amulets, idols, and books—for destruction. We’ve witnessed numerous individuals freed from demonic possession and oppression. This trend continued today.

From Gulu, Evangelist Jim Leamon reports, “A witch doctor, after witnessing the miraculous during our healing prayers, has converted. She practiced witchcraft for twelve years but experienced a profound spiritual transformation at the crusade. For the first time since she became a witch doctor, she slept without demonic assault. She burned her witchcraft paraphernalia tonight and declared her new faith in Christ. Also, another witch doctor has expressed the desire to renounce their old ways and plans to bring their items to be destroyed tomorrow.”

In Iganga, a young man named Brian said that a woman brought witchcraft into his village in 2013, bringing him immediate physical suffering. After years of enduring leg pain that prevented him from wearing shoes, Brian experienced complete healing through the healing prayer. He can now bend his legs and wear shoes comfortably!

Evangelist Braidwood Rathbone (also in Iganga) wrote:

“On the way to the field tonight, Evangelist Gary, Esther and I were discussing how we’d like to see God move tonight. Just then we passed multiple local ‘mad’ people. I told the team, “These are the people we need at the crusade, let them come and be healed.” Later tonight, Evangelist Gary brought me the first testimony, ‘Alex’. He was falling on the ground overcome with joy and crying beautiful tears. Evangelist Gary said to me with a smile, “This is what you asked God for.” I interviewed the man in front of the crowd. Many hundreds of people knew him. He explained how he had been delivered from insanity and received the Holy Spirit! Alex was in his right mind. He praised Jesus and told the crowd who had healed him. Praise Jesus!”

In Mbale, Annette shared her decade-long struggle with a malevolent spirit that disrupted her education and senses. She reported that as the witchcraft items were burned, she felt the oppressive spirit leave. Her sanity, vision, and hearing were restored. She demonstrated her recovery under Evangelist Randy’s observation, as he tested her vision in front of the crowd. Annette confirmed her healing, crediting it all to Jesus!

For my part, I ministered in the capital city of Kampala again tonight. This is where our Bootcamp students have spent three weeks on their “Initiation Trip,” their final challenge before graduation. When I talk to them, I can see that something significant has happened in their lives through this whole experience. God has used them to lead over 120,000 people to Christ here!

Among the students is my oldest son Elijah, who shared experiences of preaching in the most unusual places, like a slaughterhouse with pigs squealing and a chop-shop for stolen motorcycles. It’s a joy to witness these future evangelists being multiplied, using the tools they’ve been given with great effect and poised to achieve “even greater” things for God in the days to come.

As an example of this “multiplication” in action, Evangelist Randy Roberts, who ministered powerfully in Mbale (and who is also a Bootcamp Graduate) said:

“The thing that had the most impact on me happened as we were driving from the field. My driver said, ‘What a great and simple Gospel message you preached.’ I began to laugh, and he looked at me and said, ‘Why are you laughing?’ ‘Because that message isn’t mine. It was Evangelist Bonnke’s, then he shared it with Evangelist Kolenda who was kind enough to share it with me.’”

Then I said, “I wonder how many millions of people have been saved from that one message” and my amazingly wise driver said, “And how many more will be because they shared it with you.” Praise God forever!”

This multiplication of the Gospel being preached is happening not just here in Mbale, but all over Uganda, Africa, and the world! Truly, what a great question. “How many more will be saved because of it?!!’”

Tomorrow night marks the conclusion of our second week here, completing the first seven of our 15 crusades in Uganda. Excitingly, next week brings another series of eight crusades! Please keep us in your prayers as we continue our frontline Kingdom work here in Uganda.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Dear Mission Partners,

Tonight, I had the privilege of preaching in the city of Gulu, Uganda. Jim Leamon is one of the evangelists carrying this crusade (Jim and Kathy are a husband-and-wife team stationed here. Both graduated from the CfaN Evangelism Bootcamp). He wrote:

“Tonight, Evangelist Kolenda returned to the city of Gulu, Uganda to the exact same field he was on in 2012. This is the third night of the crusade where the crowd has grown exponentially each night. And tonight was no exception. The people began gathering hours beforehand to hear the message he would deliver. Evangelist Kolenda rewarded them with a clear gospel message on the blood of Jesus and thousands responded to the salvation call.”

This theme of “The Blood of Jesus” is something that each evangelistic team in each city preached tonight. We are all confronting the witchcraft and animism that is prevalent here. We all broke curses and burned fetishes, charms, amulets, idols, and all kind of occult items.

From the city of Mbale, Evangelist Joshua Wagner wrote:

“The Lord has answered our prayers! After the first two nights were negatively affected by the rain, tonight we had perfect weather. Both the sun and the Son were shining down upon us tonight. Evangelist Kevin Wagner began the night by preaching on “The power of the blood of Jesus.” As the people listened to how the blood still has the power to save and heal and deliver, their faith was stirred. When the time came to accept Jesus as Lord, many repeated the prayer, trusting the blood of Jesus to wash away their sins.”

From Kampala, Evangelist Macoby Donaldson (who is the Director of the CfaN Evangelism Alliance) wrote:

“After preaching the gospel we burned fetishes, charms, amulets and idols. In fact, the barrels were nearly full of all kinds of religious and cultish items along with witchcraft paraphernalia. I told the audience that tonight when the Holy Spirit convicts them, they should bring up their false idols, talismans, amulets, fetishes, juju etc. And I even gave them one last chance just before we burned the barrels. Even at the last minute, people were running to the altar and throwing away relics of their previous lives! We lit the barrels on fire, burned up that junk and broke the curses the devil has plagued this region with. The team and many of God’s people began to dance and celebrate around the defeat of the enemy. It felt like we had won a battle, and the celebration was a match for the victory Jesus has brought us. The devil was kicked out of Kampala!”

We do this in every crusade just like they did in Acts 19:19 when it says, “A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly...” Often people live in fear of items they have been instructed to wear by the witch doctors to ward off evil spirits or curses. Sometimes the people have been told that if they remove these charms (like a necklace or bracelet) they will die. Instead, when they surrender all to Jesus and throw those trinkets away, they find new freedom and peace.

For example, in Mbale, Janet had been wearing a witchcraft item and, since November 2023, had been suffering from excruciating chest pain. She cried at night, and her husband almost surrendered her to God. However, she had strong faith that God would heal her. She came to the crusade on the first day, despite the rain, and declared to the devil, “No, enough is enough.” Tonight, she threw the witchcraft item into the barrel to be burned. While it was burning, she was rejoicing and noticed she was no longer in pain. When the evangelist asked who healed her, she confidently testified, “Jesus!”

Many other amazing miracles happened tonight as well. Blind eyes, deaf ears, crippled legs, hernias and all kinds of pain and tumors were healed! We are rejoicing and looking forward to a powerful climax in the last two days.

Thank you for continuing to pray for us.

MIRACLES IN DROVES

Dear Mission Partners,

Today I traveled to the city of Iganga, one of four cities where CfaN crusades are ongoing this week in Uganda. Evangelist Gary Smith described the scene beautifully.

“As we were pulling up to the field, you could feel the charge in the atmosphere! Some people of Iganga walked for more than 4 miles to the crusade field. As the sun was setting, a wind suddenly began to bring much cooler air and even lightning in the distance. Despite the sudden change in the weather, there was also a sudden change in people’s lives as Evangelist Kolenda began to pray for salvation! Thousands of people lifted their voices in unison, repenting and asking Jesus to be Lord of their lives. This indescribable sound of people crying out to the Lord never gets old. In fact, it hits you in the heart, full of compassion, love, and awe of the goodness and mercy of God. While the people cried out to the Lord, it began to rain, but nobody was leaving. It was a beautiful symbol of new birth in the Spirit.”

The city of Gulu had a special treat tonight. Evangelist Jana Bielava, who is one of our executive crusade directors here, also preached the Gospel powerfully. Her family has been part of Christ for all Nations for 21 years. They organized crusades in Europe for 17 years and over the past 4 years they have had the privilege of organizing 39 crusades for CfaN across Tanzania, Zambia and Uganda and they have seen entire regions and nations transformed by the power of the blood of Jesus.

Evangelist Jana wrote:

“Signs, wonders and miracles broke out as I preached the ABCs of the Gospel – the presence of God was tangible across the field. Gulu is buzzing with excitement about what God has in store for this beautiful city in Northern Uganda. With every word I preached, I honored God and gave Him all the glory – He alone is worthy of our praise.”

In Mbale, the father/son team of Evangelists Kevin and Joshua Wagner ministered powerfully, preaching the Gospel and praying for the sick. Despite a downpour of rain as Joshua was preaching, the people stayed and listened intently. After the altar call, Joshua writes that “a spirit of joy descended upon the people, a crowd of many newly saved believers. In the heavy rain, the people began to worship with passion. As we praised, the rain began to dissipate. It was not long until the rain had basically ceased, for we had literally ‘danced the rain away.’”

Meanwhile in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, Evangelist Levi Lutz (who is also the Director of the Christ for all Nations Evangelism Bootcamp) was preaching the Gospel. He writes:

Thousands raised their hands high across the crusade field. Some had tears running down their cheeks. Others were rejoicing and shouting. The atmosphere was marked by sincerity and electricity – such an authentic touch from heaven on these precious people.

After our counselors had met with every single new believer who had made a decision for Christ, I called the sick to the front. I was very excited for this moment because I was going to get to join with this incredible army of evangelists from the CfaN Evangelism Bootcamp that both Evangelist Kolenda and I had been personally mentoring for months. I felt so honored to minister alongside them.

As they laid their hands on the sick, miracles began to break out all over the field. There was a constant stream of testimonies. Verifiable, demonstrable, undeniable miracles in droves. Far more than we could possibly hear from the stage. Cancers were healed just as Evangelist Kolenda had prophesied, twisted arms popped straight, deaf ears were open, the lame were jumping and shouting. Demons were coming out of people with loud shrieks and their torment was replaced by peace, joy, and even laughter.

One precious lady even brought medical documentation to the crusade field and testified with documented proof that she had been HIV positive. This morning after attending the crusade the night before, she was now HIV negative! Another man who had been a worldly singer and destroyed his lungs with drugs, now sang praises to Jesus in front of the entire crowd. A soccer player who had been injured testified that he was instantly healed!

Tomorrow night I will travel to the city of Gulu, where Evangelist Bonnke and I preached in 2012. The crusade there 12 years ago was historic, and I believe God is going to do even greater things this week.

Thank you for praying for us. More to come...

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda

INTENSE SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Dear Mission Partners,

The spiritual warfare is real here in Uganda. Earlier today, some of the Bootcamp students found themselves in a terrible situation. They were trapped and detained by some radical religious fanatics for trying to preach the Gospel. It was a potentially dangerous moment that put our whole team on edge. The crusade director here in Kampala told me that, as this was going on, he received two phone calls at the exact same moment. The first call was to tell him about that situation where our students were in danger. The other call was telling him that witch doctors were on our crusade field pronouncing curses on our team!

Well, the devil is defeated! The Lord was gracious. Our students got out safely. And on the very field where the witch doctors were doing their nonsense, the power of God showed up tonight!

Evangelist Macoby Donaldson wrote:
“I’ve just returned from the crusade field here in Kampala, Uganda, where Evangelist Kolenda preached the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ... We have strategically set up our crusade grounds in the northern region of Kampala where a large majority of the residents are Islamic. One of the older pastors told us that when Islam first came to Uganda, it was this exact neighborhood where it was planted. To this day, 60 to 80% of the population is in the Islamic religion.

We have come to this place because Jesus loves Muslims, Jesus died for Muslims and tonight, the first night of our crusade in Kampala, we have watched the love of Jesus sweep through this place and change many lives.”

While I was preaching in Kampala, three other crusades started in three other cities in Uganda as well.

From Mbale, Evangelist Kevin Wagner wrote:
“The crowd, which was so excited and engaged, responded well to the message as many gave their lives to Jesus. The “Next Steps” book was excitedly displayed in the air all across the grounds, demonstrating the many people who gave their lives to Jesus!”

From Gulu, Evangelist Kathy Leamon wrote:
“So many people chose tonight to call upon the name of Jesus for the first time.  As the night continued, I felt so happy that the crowd was shouting and responding with such strength in their voices, because it did not start out this way.”

From Iganga, Evangelist Braidwood Rathbone wrote:
“The first explosive healing testimony was a man named “Patrick”. He had been deaf since birth (40 years) in his right ear. Tonight, as we prayed, God totally restored his hearing. Nobody could restrain their joy, including me. Evangelist Gary Smith and I were beaming from ear to ear!”

And these miracles broke out in city after city as Evangelists Joshua Wagner, Jim and Kathy Leamon and Esther Tshimuanga and Macoby Donaldson prayed for the sick. One man couldn’t see anything in his left eye because he was beaten, but tonight his eye was healed.

Ruth’s baby had a fracture during delivery, with a bone protruding from the baby’s backbone. Three days after birth, she returned to the hospital, but they couldn’t help. Tonight, the Lord has completely healed her baby.

And maybe I can mention one more from Evg. Kathy in Gulu, which nicely sums up what we are facing here. She writes: “We have had a witchdoctor praying against our crusade in this city.  They even put up their signs over the top of our crusade signs.  It has been a battle of altars in prayer.  We are on the winning side.

On this very first night we had Florence who was demon possessed.  She had pain in her waist and back for 2 years.  She felt the power of God touch her and deliver her.  She could not bend before but now she was walking across the stage, bending up and down. Hallelujah!”

This is the beginning of our second week here in Uganda. Four teams in four cities, five nights each. We will conduct a total of 15 crusades here in Uganda before moving on to Congo. To those who have been praying for us – thank you, and please continue. For everyone else, please take a few minutes out of your day to remember us in prayer. The spiritual warfare is intense, but the harvest is great, and Jesus is worth it.

Yours in the Gospel,

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda

HER HOUSE FULL OF FLIES

Dear Mission Partners,

Tonight was the final night of the first week of our campaign here in East Africa where 15 crusades are being conducted in Uganda alone! This week we have been busy with the first three crusades, and we will conduct four more in the second week.

In each city, the dynamics have been amazing. The crowds are growing night after night. Remarkable testimonies of healing and deliverance are pouring in.

The Bootcamp students alone have already documented nearly 80,000 decisions (they’ve been here on their Initiation Trip for the last two weeks)! They have been preaching in hundreds of schools, street corners and markets. Waves of salvation are crashing on the nation and Jesus is being exalted in Uganda!

From the city of Lira, Evangelist Daniel Smenes writes: “I came up on the platform tonight to be greeted by a massive crowd from the city of Lira, dancing so wildly that dust erupted like incense to God all over the field. As I preached the Gospel tonight, I could see the people intently hanging on to every word I said. When I gave the altar call, hands went up all over the field and my heart swelled as I heard them call on the name of Jesus.”

From the city of Hoima, Evangelist Randy Roberts tells the remarkable story of a lady named Kabababazi: “Six years ago, a witch doctor cursed her and her house. Almost immediately, her house began to fill with flies, and she started to become weak until finally she became paralyzed and could not walk. Shortly thereafter, she regained partial use of her legs but lost her mind and became known as the “mad” woman.

This week her family heard about the crusade here in Hoima and they tied her up with ropes and carried her to the crusade. After we burned the witchcraft items, we bound the list of evil spirits we had been given and prayed for the sick. She was instantly and completely healed and set free. She came to the stage to testify, fully in her right mind and rejoicing at what Jesus had done for her.

I feel like this is exactly what has happened for the city of Hoima. For decades, it has been known as a cursed place full of witch doctors and witchcraft. As I was praying before the last night of preaching began, I felt the Lord prompt me to ask the crowd that night why none of the witch doctors had stopped the crusade. “Do you think they like us worshipping Jesus here on this field?” I asked. Over 70,000 people roared back a resounding “NO!” I then told them why the witch doctors didn’t stop the crusade. It’s because they were not able!”

From the city of Busia, Evangelist Brady Liette writes:
“When I asked those on the field to raise their hand if they wanted to make a decision to follow Jesus, nearly every hand went up. This was spectacular because at the start of the night, I asked how many people were there for the first time and we had nearly the same response.

After the prayer for salvation, we prayed for the sick. The most amazing miracle we saw was from a girl who was demon possessed and mute. She said she hadn’t spoken a word since last year. She said when I asked each person to look to Jesus and put their hand where they needed healing, she placed her hand on her mouth in faith. Instantly, she began speaking and praising the Lord. She said that earlier in the night, she fell to the ground and was led by one of our team members to the deliverance tent. There she was set free from the demonic strongholds in her life and accepted Jesus in her heart, but she still couldn’t speak. But when I prayed for the sick and oppressed, she reached up to Jesus and Jesus touched her, He healed her, and she said she would never be the same again in Jesus’ name!”

Now, our team is working around the clock to make sure that the four crusades in Week Two are ready to go, beginning on Wednesday night. We are just getting started here in Uganda.

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda

WAVE OF REVIVAL!

Dear Mission Partners,

Tonight, I preached in the city of Lira, Uganda. It’s hard to express the joy I feel in my heart as each night I pull up to a new field where a crusade is ongoing, and I’m greeted by the dozens of CfaN team members serving there, many of whom I have not seen for months. Technicians, organizers, preachers – most of them CfaN Bootcamp Graduates, all carry the same heart for the lost and the same DNA of crusade evangelism. There are now five generations of these grads, several of whom have literally spent years on the field since graduating! I think they are the best and most experienced crusade team in the world at this point and they all feel like family to me. What a joy!

From the city of Lira, Evangelist Jared Horton wrote:
“Tonight was the largest crowd in Lira, Uganda, for the CfaN Gospel Crusade! Word must be spreading in this city because we see the crowd grow every night!

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda arrived, encouraged the crusade team, and preached a crystal-clear Gospel message explaining to the people of Lira that they were made in the image of God, and they belong to Jesus. The message was so simple and communicated so clearly that people’s hands went up all over the field for those who wanted to receive Jesus as their savior!

After Evangelist Kolenda preached the Gospel, Evangelist Daniel Smenes took the platform and prayed for the people to be filled with the Holy Spirit. As he prayed, people all over the field were filled with the Holy Spirit!”

Meanwhile in Hoima, they were also experiencing a mass outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Evangelist Alejandro Escobar wrote: “The highlight for me was when we prayed for the baptism of the Holy Spirit over the crowd. After we worshipped for a few minutes, the crowd began to shout in unison a thunderous “Hallelujah!” A mighty roar erupted from the field as the people were filled by the power of God - both the young and the old!

This city has been known for their witchcraft, occultism, and many other regional strongholds, but tonight this all changed because freedom, joy and peace were released into the atmosphere. Many were set free from demonic oppression while many others were instantly healed of their diseases.”

In the city of Busia (where I preached last night) they were experiencing what Evangelist Joe Turnbull describes as a “wave of revival.” He writes: “Tonight a wave of revival hit Busia. The next day after Daniel Kolenda preached, the crowd nearly tripled in size. Expectation and hunger arose and as I hit the stage, I knew tonight was going to be different. I began to preach my heart out, telling people to turn from darkness to light, and salvation swept across the field as counselors were bringing in the harvest for the local church.

I then began to teach on the Holy Spirit just as we were taught in Bootcamp. Then the holy moment came as the worship brought us into unity and people began to ask for the Holy Spirit in the quietness of the heart. I stopped the music, and the field was completely silent. Then I counted to three and a shout of hunger hit the field and the Holy Spirit came like a rushing mighty wind. Fire hit the souls of Uganda and people began to receive. Demons manifested across the field, and it seemed as if every 30 seconds they were carrying people to the ‘snake pit’ where we have a team trained in deliverance. Healing began to break out over the field and people came rushing down to the front to share.”

Among the many testimonies we heard tonight, these are some of the most notable:

A lady named Topista had a tumor on her breast for 3 weeks. It was painful, so she visited the hospital where they diagnosed a tumor and scheduled her for an operation that day. However, she needed someone to sign for her before the operation but had no one available. So, she decided to go to the crusade, believing Jesus would operate on her. After the prayer at the crusade, the tumor miraculously left her body!

In a similar testimony, Faith said she had been suffering from a breast tumor and pain for 4 months. When the evangelist prayed for healing, she prayed as well. At that moment, she felt the pain and lump in her breast disappear. She is very happy about her miracle tonight. She testified that Jesus is her Healer.

Samantha suffered with epilepsy for four years. She had at least four seizures a day, sometimes as often as every 20 minutes. After the prayer for the sick on Night Three, she felt something happen to her and believed she was healed. She came to testify that she had not had a single seizure since the prayer the night before.

Leah has had trouble hearing in her right ear since 2015. When the evangelist prayed for healing tonight, she prayed by faith and said she could hear. Evangelist Reuben whispered “Jesus,” and she repeated it but still had difficulty hearing the next word. She was prayed for again. When the evangelist tested her with words like “Jesus,” “hallelujah,” and “thank you, God,” she repeated all of them without issue. She testified that Jesus healed her tonight.

Tomorrow is the last night of the first week here in Uganda. Please continue to pray for us.

DELIVERED FROM DEMONS

Dear Mission Partners,

This morning as I was leaving the city of Hoima, we drove past the crusade field where I preached last night. It was early in the morning and the field was empty, except for a large group of intercessors who were gathered there on the field, crying out to God and praying for the meetings (which will continue there through Sunday night). I saw those same intercessors on that field when we arrived in Hoima yesterday as well. I would not be surprised to find they had prayed all throughout the night! It was just one more reminder that this amazing harvest we are experiencing is so much bigger than any one of us. Literally tens of thousands of people, from our partners around the world (like you) to our offices on six continents, to the army of intercessors, counselors, ushers, security workers, cooperating pastors and churches (and the list goes on) have come together to make this possible.

From Hoima I flew to the city of Busia where I preached tonight. This is a small place (relatively speaking) and the crusade is literally in the middle of town. I could walk to the field from my hotel. It reminds me of something out of an old western movie. I would imagine that there has never been a crusade (or any kind of an event of this size) in this place ever. This is the kind of place we could never have gone to in the past (when we were only doing 6 or 7 crusades per year). We would have had to stay close to the major population centers in the nation (which are few). But we will conduct 15 crusades, just in Uganda, over the next few weeks, which means many more options are available to us.

There is a kind of hunger and gratitude that you find in a small place like this that is totally refreshing. I preached tonight about the power in the blood of Jesus and the people responded enthusiastically. And then, after the altar call, in all three cities where crusades are ongoing this week, we burned witchcraft and occult paraphernalia.

From Hoima, Uganda, Evangelist Randy Roberts wrote:
“At least 25-35 percent of the population of the entire city was at the field tonight. Just imagine if that happened in your town!! As we drove through the crowded streets to leave the field, my driver, James, said “It is so good to see this field being used for Jesus and not the devil.” He said, “My whole life, people have been afraid of Hoima because of all of the witchcraft that is here, but now Hoima is going to be known for a different reason! We are going to be known as the place God visited and changed forever!” PRAISE GOD FOREVER!! God is changing Hoima forever and He will change you forever as well.”

From Lira, Uganda, Evangelist Jared Horton wrote:
“After I preached, we lit those barrels on fire and burned the witchcraft items. As the barrels burned, I began to call out the specific false Gods in their city and break their powers in Jesus’s name.  When I called out those specific false Gods, the people clearly understood who these false Gods were because they erupted with high praise every time I called them out and broke their powers in Jesus’s name!”

Then Evangelists Brady Liette, Lea Manning and Reuben Conway prayed for the sick. More miracle testimonies are flooding in than I can relate. But here are a few highlights from tonight.

Edna reported that she couldn’t see out of her left eye for almost 4 years now. She believed in her healing miracle. When Evangelist Brady gave instructions and prayed for healing, she held her left eye and suddenly felt something coming out of her eye, and she could see again. The evangelist tested the evidence of her healing by showing fingers at increasing distances. She accurately counted 1, 3, and 2 fingers respectively without difficulty. She testified that Jesus Christ healed her tonight.

A lady called Annette said that for 5 years, she had ulcers and was tormented by demons so bad that she could not sleep, but ever since the first night of the Crusade, she has been able to sleep, and she testified that she was healed of the ulcers and no longer tormented by demons!

Another lady said that since 2018, her right hand had been paralyzed and she couldn’t use it because of the pain. After the prayer, all the pain left her hand, and she can now move her right hand and celebrate Jesus.

Tomorrow I will travel to the city of Lira, Uganda where I will finish out this first week. Please continue to pray for us as hundreds of our team members labor here tirelessly. Even as I write this report, I can hear the Muslim call to prayer in the distance. It’s an eerie sound that reminds me of the urgency with which we much preach the Gospel. As Jesus said, we must work while it is day, for the night is coming when no man can work!

SMASHING STRONGHOLDS

Dear Mission Partners,

I’ve just returned from the crusade field here in Hoima, Uganda (where I preached the Gospel tonight). Hoima is the capital city of Bunyoro Region, West Uganda. This place is known for witchcraft and deep occult darkness. Just one hour away in Kagadi, there is a famous cult lead by a man who claims to be God. He says that he was teleported to every country revealing himself to people of all nations. It’s all utter foolishness, of course, but this cult has gained quite a following in this region.

In January of this year, one week before the CfaN team started preparations, the cult came to Hoima and had a “crusade” on the same field where we are preaching the Gospel. They claimed Hoima for their cult, performing witchcraft on each corner of the city. Tonight I directly confronted this (and other) demonic strongholds in the region. I declared the Lordship of Jesus over this land and the people responded with unbridled enthusiasm. I felt like the ground was shaking under their shouts of joy!

The hunger of the people here is something extraordinary. I could feel the tug of their faith and the wholehearted reception of the Gospel as I preached. I found myself saying over and over to various team members, “what a privilege to serve these people.” And I know the whole team shares that sentiment.

From the city of Lira, Uganda, Evangelist Katrin Smenes (who is ministering there with her husband, Daniel) wrote: “At 4.30 pm we were packing our car to drive to the crusade field. To the left I had my precious husband Daniel Smenes, on my lap our little newborn baby and to my right our toddler son. I had tears in my eyes as we started driving and my heart was overwhelmed with joy to be allowed to serve Jesus as a family plundering hell and populating heaven. I knew just as we brought our physical children, there would be thousands of spiritual children be born today into the kingdom of God.”

In the city of Busia, Uganda, they were dealing with some inclement weather. In fact, during the meeting tonight, the rain started to pour. Evangelist Brady Liette wrote:
“I turned around and rebuked the clouds and the rain. I asked all the people (who were starting to leave) to stop, and they rebuked the wind and the rain with our team. As I began to preach, the dark storm clouds stopped. The rain stopped. The wind ceased. And I was able to preach a crystal-clear Gospel message. When we gave the altar call, thousands raised their hands.”

After massive altar calls in each city, we prayed for the sick. In Hoima (where I preached tonight) Evangelist Rachel Smith prayed for the sick. In Lira, Evg. Lea Geibel and in Busia, Evg. Ruben Conway ministered to the sick. So many wonderful miracles happened.

A lady called Carozinn had pain in her head and back so bad that she couldn’t even stand and walk. She was also deaf and blind on her left side. After we prayed for her, she received her sight and hearing and she began to jump with no pain in her back! This lady received about four miracles in one!

Another man, who had a tumor in his stomach since he was a baby, saw his tumor completely disappear when we prayed for the sick. All his pain, which he carried for over 18 years, is completely gone!

In Busia, the crowd had increased so significantly throughout the night, that they ended the evening by preaching a second short Gospel message and giving a second altar call! The harvest truly is plentiful! Tomorrow I travel to the next city. Come along on the journey with me. Uganda is being saved!

CRUSADES IN THREE CITIES TONIGHT!

Dear Mission Partners,

Tonight is the first night of crusades here in Uganda.

Tonight, crusades started in three different cities: Lira, Busia and Hoima.

From Busia, Uganda, Evangelist Joe Turnbull wrote:
“As we were preparing at the hotel to go to the crusade field, we heard from the balcony a loud marching band with people shouting and singing songs of joy. After the crusade parade, no more than 5 minutes later, all of a sudden a storm came out of nowhere with a downpour of rain for a whole hour. But to our surprise, when we pulled up to the field thousands were still there waiting, expectant and hungry for a move of God. We preached the Gospel with thousands of hands going up for salvation.”

From Hoima, Uganda, Evangelist Alejandro Escobar wrote:
“The hunger was reflected in the multitudes who came tonight. The sound systems stopped working twice during the preaching, but the people stayed. In fact, the crowd kept growing and growing until we closed the meeting! We witnessed thousands responding to the call of salvation and miracles followed the preaching of the Gospel.”

From Lira, Uganda, Evangelist Jared Horton wrote:
“When we arrived at the Crusade field, the crowd was expectant and ready to receive the Word of God. You could see people down the street on motorcycles that stopped to hear the Gospel message. There were even 6-10 construction workers across the street putting on a roof who waved that they could hear me as I called out to them to make sure they were listening. As far as the sound could reach, the people of Lira, Uganda, received a crystal clear, simple Gospel message.”

TESTIMONIES

This woman, Adong, had been in pain for 12 years in her abdomen and back because of a tumor. After the prayer for the sick, all pain was gone and she could bend and move freely, dancing on stage with joy.

She was blind in her left eye for three years. After prayer, her eyesight was restored, as she demonstrated on stage.

Acan was scheduled to have a third operation on her abdomen but decided to leave the hospital and come to the crusade for prayer. Despite the visible wound on her side, after prayer she was able to move and jump freely without pain, beaming from ear to ear.

In each city there are two evangelists stationed (usually Bootcamp Graduates), plus one evangelist in training (also a Bootcamp graduate). In this way, the more experienced evangelists are helping to coach the newer ones. This means that even the crusades themselves are an exercise in training up the next generation of evangelists!

All these crusades are being organized by the Christ for all Nations team, many of whom have been on the ground here in Uganda full-time for months (some of them since January). All our CfaN equipment and technicians are on site in each of these locations (and many of them are already en route  to Congo, where our next round of crusades will happen in a few weeks).

Each day I am traveling to a new city with Bret Sipek (the lead organizer), where a crusade is already ongoing. I will preach in the crusade, encourage the team there, meet with local church and government leaders to thank them for their support, and then move on to the next location where another crusade is ongoing. What a joy to see city after city being shaken by the power of the Gospel!

I’m so thankful for this amazing team on the ground. They are literally the best in the world at what they do.

And I’m so thankful for you, the best ministry friends and partners anywhere! Thank you for praying for us. Thank you for sending us. I look forward to reporting back to you each day on the wonderful things God is doing.
