THE UTTERMOST PARTS OF THE EARTH

76,000,000 Documented decisions for Christ

Dear Mission Partners,
Tonight we were soaked - both with natural rain and with showers of blessing! In spite of the weather, the Gospel was preached and the sick were healed. One of the notable miracles that we heard about was of a mad woman who was delivered. Her mother said they used to restrain her with ropes, but now the chains on her brain have been broken and she is totally well! This and other wonderful testimonies thrilled our souls, but most of all, we are rejoicing with the many thousands who responded to the Gospel turning from darkness to light, repenting of sins and surrendering their lives to Jesus tonight!
Please continue to pray for Zaki-Biam, and for our team that is working diligently here on this harvest field.

Dear Mission Partners,
Greetings from Zaki-Biam, in Benue State, Nigeria, West Africa, where the first night of our Gospel campaign has just come to a close. Zaki-Biam is a very remote village. It is exotic and beautiful with a very distinct tribal culture. Have a look at the picture of the typical thatched roof mud huts that dot the wild landscape. When Jesus said, "to the uttermost parts of the earth." I think he must have had Zaki-Biam in mind. Yet, in this remote place, tens of thousands attended the opening meeting tonight with eager enthusiasm.
Many received salvation and healing and this is only the beginning. Tomorrow morning the Fire Conference begins where Rev. Peter Vandenberg and I will be ministering to the pastors and church workers. We are praying that all of Benue State will be shaken before the end of this week. Please make it a point to uplift our entire team in your prayers and please pray especially the Lord will keep the rain away from the meetings.

Dear Mission Partners,
This morning the rain poured down on the Fire Conference. Rev Peter Vandenberg and I preached under umbrellas and had to cut the meeting short, but the Holy Spirit was there in a powerful way. In fact a blind woman was miraculously healed during that short, rained out meeting.
She testified tonight that the doctors had given her up saying that her blindness was a hopeless case so she sought out an alternative remedy with the local witchdoctor. The witchdoctor told her that his "treatment" would cost 17,000 Nira, but her aunt, who was one of the Fire Conference delegates, asked her to come to the meeting this morning and receive her healing from Jesus instead. The witchdoctor told her that she would not be healed at the crusade and said, "You will come back to me very soon." But he was so wrong! Jesus opened her eyes - free of charge - in the middle of a rain storm!
Tonight a young man brought the report that he received from the doctor earlier today - he was HIV positive, but after receiving prayer he is now HIV negative!
Another man was brought directly from the hospital tonight where he was on a IV drip, bedridden, unable to speak and partially paralysed. Tonight the power of God hit him in a dramatic way. He got off his mat and began to dance and sing. Every symptom of his sickness completely and instantly vanished!
Another remarkable testimony came from the chairman of the campaign. He told us that, some time ago, a large sum of money was stolen from him. He did not know that the thief was his own house maid. She attended the meeting last night, gave her heart to Jesus and she was so convicted of her theft that she wept as she walked all the way home afterwards. Today she brought the money to the chairman, confessed her crime and asked for forgiveness!
Paul told the Corinthians, "My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power" (1 Cor. 2:4). What we are witnessing here in Zaki-Biam is truly the demonstration of the power of the Gospel in action. Stories like these are being repeated thousands of times over and impacting this region for eternity.
Tomorrow the Fire Conference comes to a climax. Please pray that the Lord would give us good weather and that pour out His Spirit on these pastors and church workers in an extraordinary way.

Dear Mission Partners,
This morning was the final day of the Fire Conference and what a glorious climax it was Rev. Peter Vandenberg and I preached, but before we could pray for the Holy Spirit to fall, it happened spontaneously! The Holy Spirit needs no prodding or coaxing - He is more eager to fill us than we are to be filled! I feel as though we are in the midst of a sovereign and historic outpouring of the Holy Spirit that continues from city to city as we travel throughout Africa. It is a revival that is not confined to one church building or a city, but like a tidal wave, it flows over every border and barrier.
Tonight the Gospel was received with great enthusiasm. We also heard of many wonderful healings; blindness was cured along with skin disease, impotency and other miracles. The Holy Spirit also fell in tonight's meeting; this time it wasn't just for the pastors and church workers, but for everyone. "My Spirit on all flesh," was the promise of Joel's prophecy and we have seen it fulfilled before our eyes today. Praise the Lord!
Tomorrow is the final day here in Zaki-Biam and we are praying for every last sinner to be saved and for every last disease to be healed. Please continue to pray as we continue to "Plunder Hell" for Calvary's sake.

Dear Mission Partners,
Tonight the Gospel Campaign here in Zaki-Biam came to a conclusion. Rain poured down, lightning flashed and thunder rolled with fury, but the people were not deterred. We are all so touched by the passion and tenacity of these precious people who simply will not be put off. They were determined to press thorough for their blessing and I believe the Lord will reward their hunger. Once again, the Gospel rang out loud and clear and was confirmed with signs and wonders. We are preparing now to leave this place knowing in our hearts that Zaki-Biam will never be the same again.
Thank you for praying for us this week and for continuing to support us financially. We are already making preparations for the next campaign which will take place next month. These are the days of harvest and, as Leonard Ravenhill used to say, "The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized during the lifetime of the opportunity."
Jesus told his disciples to, "Lift up your eyes and look on the fields, they are white already to harvest" (John 4:35). This is why we go. This is why we preach. This is why we are willing to risk everything and to pay any price; for the sake of the harvest and the one who gave His life so that, "none would perish."
